Summit Details

The GDS Policy Institute track on Sexual Assault and Consent is dedicated to making an impact in the greater Washington area and beyond. Our goal is to utilize the Summit to educate and engage our community as well as inspire others to do the same. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the complexity of sexual assault and consent issues guided by experts in this field and supported by their peers.

The GDS Policy Institute on Sexual Assault and Consent will bring secondary school students, faculty, and administrators together to examine current laws, policies, and programs established to support survivors, advocate for rights, and prevent sexual assault. Participants will then apply this knowledge to their own communities where they can design initiatives and prompt culture change.
